Peyton Manning helped make Adam Gase -- and these other coaches, too

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase is just the latest coach to thrive after Peyton Manning.

He's by no means the first, though. The future Hall of Fame passer has enhanced the careers of almost every assistant he's played for during his 18-year career.

The most notable names include, but aren't limited to:

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians: Manning's first quarterbacks coach in the pros has made a nifty little career for himself down in the desert. He undoubtedly used lessons learned from No. 18 in future gigs with Ben Roethlisberger, Andrew Luck, and Carson Palmer.

Arizona Cardinals assistant Tom Moore: Moore got his coaching start as a grad assistant at the University of Iowa back in 1961. Manning came around almost 40 years later and together, the two set NFL records in Indianapolis.

Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell: Caldwell got the nod from retiring coach Tony Dungy to take over. Manning's former quarterbacks coach parlayed that experience into a Super Bowl win as Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator, and most recently, a head spot with the Detroit Lions.

Duke football head coach David Cutcliffe: Cutcliffe made a career after teaching No. 18 how to pass at Tennessee. He took the head job at Ole Miss (where he taught Peyton's little brother, too) before settling in to revive the Duke football program.
