New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia must have been feeling bold following his team's incredible Super Bowl victory over the Atlanta Falcons Sunday night.

Patricia made a biting statement about NFL commissioner Roger Goodell without uttering a single word when the Patriots returned to Boston on Monday.

When the Super Bowl LI champs landed at Logan Airport this afternoon, cameras spotted Patricia wearing a Roger Goodell clown t-shirt as he exited the plane.

The t-shirt, which depicts Goodell as a red-nosed clown, was made by Barstool Sports, a media company whose founder is known for being an avid Brady supporter and was among the group of fans who were arrested at the NFL headquarters in 2015 during a sit-in protest of Goodell.

It was another low blow the Pats delivered to the commissioner, who has had his differences with the organization ever since the Deflategate scandal blew up in January of 2015.

The ongoing feud between the Patriots and Goodell made for an extremely awkward moment Sunday night, when Goodell was forced to present Patriots owner Robert Kraft with the Lombardi Trophy after New England's historic comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
