The Raiders like the 1-2 punch they saw at running back

Seems like an extra week off did wonders to repair the Raiders' ground game.

Starter Latavius Murray popped off 5.7 yards per carry against the Chargers on Sunday. And his backup, speedster Taiwan Jones, added 42 all-purpose yards of his own.

“We got a lot of guys healthy from the bye week and we were just anxious to put together four good quarters,” Jones told Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle. “Latavius and I benefited a lot from the bye week and you can see it paid off.”

“All kudos to (offensive coordinator Bill) Musgrave,” Jones said. “He sees what we bring to the table and he uses us a little differently, and it’s been working.”
