NFL Week 13: What do Color Rush uniforms look like?

The Minnesota Vikings will host the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in Week 13. What do the Color Rush uniforms look like?

Thursday Night Football in Week 13 will be in Minneapolis when the Minnesota Vikings (6-5) will host the Dallas Cowboys (10-1) on Thursday, Dec. 1. Kickoff from US Bank Stadium will be at 8:25 p.m. ET. NBC, the NFL Network, and Twitter will carry the game.

After a week of traditional NFL uniforms on Thanksgiving Day 2016, Color Rush will be in full effect on Thursday Night Football this week between the Cowboys and Vikings. What do the Color Rush uniforms look like for both teams?

As expected with a Color Rush home game for the Vikings, yes, there will be a lot of purple on display in the Twin Cities. Minnesota normally wears a lot of purple to begin with, so the Vikings’ Color Rush threads aren’t as gaudy as other teams’.

For the Cowboys, they will look crisp in their mostly white uniforms. The helmets will obviously be grey and there will be royal blue next to the stars placed on the Cowboys’ shoulder pads. Dallas always looks good in white. It’s no surprise that the Cowboys will pull off Color Rush wonderfully as the visiting team.

This is a must-win for the Vikings. At 6-5, Minnesota trails the Detroit Lions by a game in the NFC North standings. Minnesota has to finish at least one game better than Detroit to win the division this year. The Vikings were swept in a matter of weeks by the Lions in their biannual season series.

For Dallas, the Cowboys have an opportunity to clinch an NFC Playoff spot this week. A win over the Vikings, complemented with losses by both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Redskins would guarantee the Cowboys no worse than a No. 6 seed in the 2016 NFC Playoffs.
