Day 1 of the 2017 NFL Combine on Friday, March 3 will feature running back and offensive linemen testing. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
With NFL Draft season in full effect, fans and teams alike have been waiting for the 2017 NFL Combine. After interviews and light testing, the day has finally arrived. Day 1 of the Combine will take place on Friday, March 3 from Lucas Oil Stadium as the running backs and offensive linemen trying to raise their draft stock will do their testing.
The running backs figure to be some of the stars of Day 1 at the 2017 NFL Combine. This is considered one of the deepest draft classes at the position in quite some time. Dalvin Cook out of Florida State should blaze in the 40-yard dash. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey out of Stanford should be an all-around great performer. Perhaps the biggest star, though, will be LSU’s Leonard Fournette. After weighing in at 240 pounds, his athletic testing numbers should be wild to see.
However, the quickness and agility portions could be big for a number of offensive linemen. Though this isn’t considered a deep draft class on the O-line, the NFL Combine offers the chance for these players to show some things that will help their stock.
What’s interesting, though, is that perhaps the most important part of the 2017 NFL Combine happens behind closed doors. Teams will be interviewing all of these prospects. Therefore, they will be getting an idea about the mentality, leadership abilities and more with these prospects. Even still, it’s always a blast to see these players show off their athletic abilities.
Friday’s action at the NFL Combine with the Day 1 participants will air on NFL Network. For live streaming, all you need to do is access that portion of the NFL.com website. You may be prompted to log in using a cable or satellite subscription to access the stream.
