New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick shocked the world last week, but wasn’t with his stellar play on Sunday. The surprising move came in the days prior when he trimmed his iconic beard.

Well, the grooming seemed to have helped his game as he proceeded to throw four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Jets’ Week 12 win. While the change in "mojo" worked, Fitzpatrick won’t be trimming his beard this week.

Instead, he might groom another part of his face.

"I’ll trim my nose hairs maybe," Fitzpatrick told reporters on Wednesday.

If Fitzpatrick does indeed hold off on shaving his beard this week and the Jets lose, only one thing can be true: When he trims, they win.

His teammates have already told him to keep grooming his beard, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll listen to them. After all, "No-Shave November" has come to an end.
