Jets lead NFL in this offensive category by wide margin

For the New York Jets, the defense gets most of the attention. It has forced the third-most turnovers in the league and is a big reason why the Jets are 4-1 and contending for a division title thus far.

However, the offense has certainly held its own this season as well. Chris Ivory leads the NFL in rushing yards per game and has showed no signs of slowing down. Ryan Fitzpatrick is protecting the football and not committing big mistakes, while Brandon Marshall is dominating opposing cornerbacks.

What's most surprising, though, is the fact that the Jets lead the league in sacks allowed -- and by a wide margin. The Jets have allowed just two sacks this season, which is four fewer than any other team in the league. Additionally, Ryan Fitzpatrick has been sacked zero times in four of the team's five games.

It's a big reason why the Jets have had so much success on offense, both in the passing game and running game. Without great protection, the Jets may not be where they are today.
