Jets’ Brandon Marshall has clever Christmas gift for Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick will certainly find the Christmas gift from Brandon Marshall (center) hilarious.

Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brandon Marshall have displayed a great deal of chemistry in their first season with the New York Jets. Marshall has caught 89 passes and 11 touchdown passes from Fitzpatrick.

Now good friends, Marshall found it appropriate to get his quarterback a Christmas gift — as friends usually do. Only, Marshall put a twist on the present.

He got Fitzpatrick a copy of Keyshawn Johnson’s old book, "Just Give Me the Damn Ball!" Marshall actually bought a copy for all of his fellow wideouts, too, according to the New York Daily News.

A nice bit of sarcasm from Marshall, who leads the team in receptions by 23 over the next closest player, Eric Decker. The Jets are likely all happy to be 8-5 after a 4-12 finish last season.

Marshall has showed the ability to beat one-on-one coverage consistently this year, making big play after big play for New York. He needs just 11 catches to top 100 receptions for the sixth time in his career.
