Giants’ Prince Amukamara set for MRI on Monday, hopes to play in Week 9
New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara is still experiencing soreness after a suffering a pectoral injury that has held him out of the past two games, and he will undergo an MRI on Monday.
Amukamara told reporters that he is progressing in his recovery, and that the Monday MRI is a good thing — he hopes the doctor will grant him clearance to practice and eventually play in the Giants' Week 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
MRI for Amukamara Monday. Said he still has some soreness and restricted movement in chest. Has not benched. Did do wall push-ups today
