Fans mistake Odell Beckham for hologram thanks to 'virtual reality'

There probably isn't a single fan out there that wouldn't love to throw a pass to Odell Beckham Jr. Not only is he one of the top receivers in the game today, but he's also one of the most recognizable and popular.

Thanks to Verizon, this group of "fans" got the chance to have a catch with Beckham. The only problem was that they didn't know he was really there. That's because they were wearing "virtual reality headsets," or so they thought.

Beckham was actually in the room with them, running slant routes over the middle of the theoretical field. It wasn't until the fans received a hug or pat on the arm from Beckham that they realized he was actually there.

Virtual reality is great, except when it makes you think Odell Beckham is just a hologram and isn't inches from your face.
