Report: Sean Payton tells team if they fight, they can pack their bags

With preseason practice brawls seemingly popping up all over the NFL, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton wants it known that he'll have none of it.

According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, Payton has told his team that if they choose to fight during practice, that they can pack their bags.

The topic was only brought up by Payton due to the fact that the New England Patriots will be joining up with the Saints for practices starting Thursday. As for the fights, Payton believes that it all stems from the massive amount of media attention they receive.

"That's unfortunate when you see it happen with other teams," Payton told NFL.com. "And clearly when you put a team on television like 'Hard Knocks' and then practice with someone else, we've seen that formula happen two years in a row. So that's nothing new."

Well, it seems like we shouldn't expect any fights between the Saints and Patriots, which is obviously good news for both teams.
