Report: Saints sign CB Brian Dixon's twin brother to practice squad
The New Orleans Saints have added a familiar face to their roster, literally. While Brian Dixon is in his second year with the Saints as an undrafted free agent, the team has decided to sign his twin brother, Brandon Dixon as well, according to Evan Woodbery of The Times-Picayune.
As Woodbery explains, the newly-signed Dixon was a former sixth-round pick by the New York Jets, and he will be placed on New Orleans' practice squad for the time being.
Dixon (Brandon) actually played 14 games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014, but was waived in September, leading to him bouncing around to three different practice squads.
It'll be interesting to see if Brian Dixon's twin brother can make an impact for this team at some point, but regardless, the cornerback depth is nice to have.
