Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was harassed during the Minnesota Vikings’ 23-20 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4. Denver’s pass-rushers effectively collapsed Minnesota’s pocket and sacked Bridgewater seven times for a loss of 57 yards.

Bridgewater’s protection obviously let him down, but the second-year quarterback would not throw his teammates under the bus. He had a very professional response ready for when reporters asked about the performance of his offensive line, per VikingUpdate.com.

Still only 22 years old, Bridgewater continues to conduct himself like a classy veteran. The Vikings should not beashamed about a close loss to the undefeated Broncos, and Bridgewater effectively turned the attention away from one of the team’s few shortcomings.

The Vikings will go far with Bridgewater at the helm, so long as he maintains a winning attitude and keeps inspiring his teammates.
