Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs got his first career start against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and the fifth-round rookie made the most of his opportunity. Diggs finished the day with a game-high seven receptions for 129 yards.

It was Diggs’ first 100-yard game of his very young NFL career.

After leading the team with 87 receiving yards against the Broncos in Week 4, Sunday’s performance marked Diggs’ second consecutive game with at least 80 yards. He’s the first Vikings rookie to do that since Randy Moss.

Diggs seemed to be one of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s favorite targets on third down. In a game in which Adrian Peterson struggled to get the ground game going, the rookie receiver’s breakout performance came in handy against the Chiefs.
