Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions live stream: How to watch online

As you get ready to set your football viewing schedule for Thanksgiving Day, here’s how you can catch the NFC North clash betweeen the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.

The Minnesota Vikings, with the help of 100-plus yard returns for a touchdown by cornerback Xavier Rhodes and wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, ended a four-game losing streak with a 30-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. They now have a short turnaround, with a trip to take on the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions (6-4) trailed yet again in the fourth quarter on Sunday, but they came out with a 26-19 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Here’s how you can watch Thursday’s battle for supremacy in the NFC North, which is the first game of the three-game NFL holiday.

The Lions opened as a three-point favorite for Thursday’s game, which is the typical tilt toward the home team for NFL games, but that has moved to Detroit being a 2.5-point favorite right now. The original over/under of 42 has moved slightly too, up to 43 as of this writing.

The winner of Thursday’s game will move into the lead by themselves in the NFC North. If the Lions win, they will have an extra leg up on the Vikings by completing a regular season sweep. If both teams remain toward the top of the division down the stretch, a Detroit season sweep is sure to be an important tie-breaker. The team that makes fewer mistakes will obviously be in better position to win, but the first game of Thanksgiving Day should be close throughout.
