Vikings hadn’t seen a performance like Barr’s in Week 12 since 1992

Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr was extremely disruptive in a Week 12 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He recorded eight tackles (seven solo, one for a loss), two forced fumbles and a sack.

Before Sunday, the Vikings hadn’t seen a defensive stat line like that since 1992. The player who posted it was Hall of Fame defensive end Chris Doleman.

Barr is only in his second NFL season, but the former ninth-overall draft pick is already one of Minnesota’s biggest difference-makers on defense. His efforts, on this play in particular, helped limit the Falcons to just 10 points in Week 12.
