FedEx should consider renaming its weekly award for the NFL’s top rushing performance, considering how many times Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has won it.

For his 203-yard outing in a 30-14 win over the Oakland Raiders last Sunday, Peterson was named FedEx Ground Player of the Week. This is the 15th time he has won the award in his career.

Peterson is on fire again this season, as he’s already closing in on his seventh 1,000-yard campaign. He leads the league with 961 yards and everyone else trails him by at least 200 yards, so there’s a good chance he wins this award again in 2015.

The only player in NFL history who has won this award more times than Peterson is Ladanian Tomlinson, according to Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune. Tomlisnon claimed the weekly FedEx Ground honor 18 times during his career.
