Mike Wallace: Vikings rookie WR Diggs reminds me of Antonio Brown

Although he's still in the earliest stages of his NFL career, Minnesota Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs has a rapidly growing fanbase. The latest person to hop on the fifth-round rookie's bandwagon is his own teammate, Mike Wallace.

In a video on the Vikings' official website, Wallace compared Diggs to one of the NFL's best wide receivers.

"You look at a guy you can tell if they have it or not just from the start," Wallace said in the video. "He has it, man. He has that football capability -- great hands, speeds, routes are crazy.

"He's going to be good, man. He reminds me a lot of Antonio [Brown]."

Brown, who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, led the league in receptions and receiving yardage last season with 129 catches for 1,698 yards. He also scored 13 touchdowns, second only to Dez Bryant's 16 scores.

Although the comparison may seem like ridiculously high praise for a player who has yet to play his first NFL snap, few would know better than Wallace. He shared the field with Brown in Pittsburgh from 2010-2012, so he has had a chance to examine both players close up.

We'll see if Diggs can live up to the hype Wallace is helping build.
