Mike Tomlin drops hammer on DeAngelo Williams after controversial Peyton Manning tweets

Only a few hours before Peyton Manning formally announced his retirement after a legendary 18-year career, Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams took a proverbial dump on Manning’s play in the 2015 season.

Tomlin’s hashtag game is strong. He may have added the emphasis because on Tuesday Williams offered this lowered estimation of Manning’s achievements:

Williams also joined ESPN’s "Mike and Mike" on Tuesday where he said: "Just because a person is accomplished and has accolades doesn’t mean you can’t speak your mind about them."
