Mike McCarthy takes aim at reporters when asked about Packers' struggling offense

The Green Bay Packers offense hasn’t looked like its usual, explosive self this season despite getting Pro Bowl wide receiver Jordy Nelson back from injury. Green Bay is ranked 25th in yards per game, a likely point of frustration in the locker room.

One of the surprising reasons for the Packers’ poor offensive start has been the passing game, which ranks 27th in the league in yards per game at 209.8. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t resembled his Pro Bowl form and is tied with Alex Smith for 23rd in quarterback rating.

It appears the offense’s performance has started to get to head coach Mike McCarthy, who apparently was in no mood to talk to reporters Wednesday.

"I don't know why the hell I have to come in here and answer questions about what you think went wrong on offense," McCarthy said.
