Report: Dolphins backup injures knee

Published Nov. 14, 2013 12:00 a.m. ET

A person familiar with the situation says Miami Dolphins backup tackle Will Yeatman has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, ending his season.

The person confirmed the injury to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because the Dolphins don't comment on injuries.

Yeatman was hurt in practice Wednesday, further depleting the Dolphins' offensive line. Tackle Jonathan Martin abruptly left the team 2 1/2 weeks ago and alleged daily harassment by teammates, including guard Richie Incognito, who has been suspended.
