Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau couldn’t seem to figure out how to stop Johnson in the first half. Whatever they were trying was clearly not working. But they righted the ship in a hurry, holding Johnson without a catch in the second half.
The Lions dug themselves into a 14-point hole, but were able to take the lead at the half 27-20. The Steelers scored all 17 points in the fourth quarter and won 37-27.
Coming into this game, Johnson ranked just behind A.J. Green in receiving yards and second in receiving touchdowns behind Jimmy Graham.
