EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is active and will play against the New York Jets after being questionable with a shoulder injury.

Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie will sit out Thursday night with an injured left thigh. He is being replaced by Marcus Williams. It's the first time in Cromartie's 10-year career that he has missed a game due to injury.

Also out for the Jets: quarterback Bryce Petty, safeties Calvin Pryor and Dion Bailey, running back Bilal Powell and offensive linemen Dakota Dozier and Ben Ijalana.

Quarterback EJ Manuel is among the Bills' inactives, with Josh Johnson serving as Tyrod Taylor's backup. Also not playing for Buffalo: defensive tackles Kyle Williams and Stefan Charles, cornerback Mario Butler, linebacker Randell Johnson and offensive linemen Gabe Ikard and Cyrus Kouandijo.
