Report: Manziel will practice Tuesday on first day of Browns OTAs

Published May. 21, 2015 2:55 p.m. ET

Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will be a full participant in practice next Tuesday when the team opens with the first of 10 OTAs, according to a report from ESPN.com.

It should come as no surprise that Manziel will be working out with the team, as he has apparently been doing all the right things since emerging from his 10-week stay in rehab.

Manziel has been spending a lot of his free time at Browns headquarters and has moved to a suburban golf community from downtown Cleveland.

"He's spent every hour that he's been allowed to spend in this building," new offensive coordinator John DeFilippo told reporters earlier this month. "I can't predict the future, but all I can do is tell you right now Johnny Manziel is putting himself in a position to be a quarterback in the NFL."

Manziel still has a way to go to unseat the newly signed Josh McCown. Head coach Mike Pettine has already indicated that McCown will likely be the starter heading into the season.
