Mangold, Clady, Wilkerson among 7 Jets to sit out practice

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) Center Nick Mangold, left tackle Ryan Clady and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson are among seven New York Jets players to not participate in practice for a second straight day because of injuries.

Mangold missed last week's win at Cleveland with a sprained ankle, as did rookie linebacker Darron Lee. Coach Todd Bowles says ''there's hope, but it's slim hope'' that the two could play Sunday at Miami.

Clady is dealing with an ailing shoulder, while Wilkerson has a sore ankle.

Also sitting out Thursday are linebacker Bruce Carter (quadriceps), offensive tackle Brent Qvale (neck) and tight end Kellen Davis (shoulder).

Cornerback Buster Skrine (knee) was limited after not practicing Wednesday and missing Sunday's game.

Right tackle Breno Giacomini (shoulder) was also limited, while wide receiver Charone Peake (ankle) was full after sitting out Wednesday.
