Luck returns to full practice work for Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Andrew Luck took the next step in the concussion protocol Wednesday by returning to full workouts at the Indianapolis Colts' headquarters.
If he is cleared by an independent doctor following practice, Indy's franchise quarterback could start Monday night against the New York Jets.
Luck missed his first game of the season last Thursday after complaining of concussion-like symptoms after a win Nov. 20 against Tennessee.
He entered the league's mandated protocol, but didn't have enough time to clear all of the steps before the Thanksgiving night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
When Luck returned to the team complex Monday, he told reporters he felt 100 percent. But he still had to complete a full practice before being cleared.
