Locked on Chiefs - KC flexing into contention

Welcome back to Primetime!

The NFL made a scheduling change Monday the affects the Kansas City. We have hit the ‘flexible’ portion of the NFL season and the league announced that the Chiefs versus Broncos contest on November 27th has been flexed to the Sunday Night Football on NBC. Kansas City will be in front of a national audience in three of their last seven regular season games of 2016.

KC Makes a roster move

Get Locked On Chiefs early!  Subscribe on AudioBoom or on iTunesJohn Dorsey signed a defensive end to bolster the Chiefs defensive line. Jarvis Jenkins last played for the New York Jets. To make room on the roster, DL David King was waived. This move likely signals the team will be without Jaye Howard longer than expected and felt the need to bolster the defensive line.

 Hill in line for more targets

In the absence of Jeremy Maclin, rookie wide receiver Tyreek Hill got the most targets from Alex Smith in Carolina. Maclin’s return likely will not be the end of it either. When asked about Hill going forward Monday, coach Andy Reid responded with “Yeah, we’d been increasing him every week. So, however that works out, works out. It’s kind of according to the game plan and how it goes. I would tell you this – we’re not hesitant to put him in there and play him. That’s whatever number he gets in there.”
