The Chiefs seem to be all systems go for Jamaal Charles’ return to starting lineup.
Wednesday brought something unique to the 2016 Kansas City Chiefs. they issues an injury list and Jamaal Charles was not listed on it.
The NFL’s all-time leader in yards per carry is set to return to full acute this week against the Raiders. Wednesday was the first day he was on the practice and not on the injury list. Paired with Spencer Ware, Kansas City has a powerful 1-2 punch at running back.
The road back to the field took a big step forward for Justin Houston. He was cleared to begin “football activity” after seeing Dr. James Andrews. It is a major milestone in his recovery. Houston can be on the field starting next Tuesday. The team will have 3 weeks to evaluate his health and either activate him on to the active roster or add him to injured reserve. The Team will have to make the decision by Election Day, November 8th.
