Jeremy Maclin is heading home for a reunion.

The 6-foot, 198-pound wide receiver is planning to reunite with head coach Andy Reid in Kansas City once free agency begins on Tuesday, FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Mike Garafolo confirmed. ESPN's Chris Mortensen first reported the news.

Maclin, who played his college ball at Missouri, is coming off a career season in which he caught 85 balls for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Eagles have undergone a roster overhaul this off-season, shipping LeSean McCoy to Buffalo and releasing veterans like Todd Herremans and Trent Cole.

By signing Maclin, the Chiefs add a deep threat who had nine receptions for 356 yards on passes thrown at least 20 yards in the air, according to Pro Football Focus. The Chiefs will have to get underneath the salary cap, and it's widely expected that they will release veteran Dwayne Bowe, who is slated to have a cap hit of $14 million.
