Andy Reid will waste no time putting his first-round pick to work.

The Chiefs head coach has already inserted cornerback Marcus Peters into the starting lineup for Sunday's season-opener, according to the team's depth chart. He'll be tasked with covering Texans receivers like DeAndre Hopkins.

Each successive glowing report on the rookie suggests he's ready for the role. The former Washington Huskie dominated Chiefs practices from the onset this spring.
