The Kansas City Chiefs will send five to the Pro Bowl

Published Dec. 22, 2015 9:00 p.m. ET

Marcus Peters is a Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowler in his first professional season.

The rookie cornerback is one of five players selected to play in Honolulu next month. The others: tight end Travis Kelce, linebackers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali, and saftey Eric Berry.

It's fitting that Peters joins Berry as an All-Star. Together, the represent the last two Chiefs to make the Pro Bowl as rookies.

It'll be Berry's fourth and most remarkable Pro Bowl trip. He's played in all 14 games this season, logging 58 tackles, eight passes defensed and four interceptions since his return from lymphoma.

Houston and Hali will both return to the game if the Chiefs aren't playing the following week. Kelce, who's fourth in receiving yards by tight ends, will make his first ever trip.
