Just days after cutting him, Dolphins re-sign Josh Freeman

The Miami Dolphins made somewhat of a surprising move on Tuesday, re-signing quarterback Josh Freeman just four days after cutting him. The report comes from Mike Freeman, via Twitter.

Freeman is back with the Dolphins just in time before Miami opens training camp on Thursday. The reasoning for cutting Freeman is unknown right now, but it's clear the Dolphins want him on the team for training camp. He should begin practice as the No. 3 quarterback behind Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore.

Freeman's ride to a comeback in the league has been a wild one, and it's not over yet. He's still a long shot to make the 53-man roster and is likely just another arm to throw in training camp.
