Jon Stewart skewers Goodell: ‘NFL doesn’t know what the (expletive) they’re doing’

When Jon Stewart gets someone or something in his crosshairs, he’s relentless.

The latest object of scorn for Stewart is the NFL in the midst of the league’s latest ongoing controversies. It seems like there’s a new one every day with allegations of domestic and child abuse putting the NFL in the spotlight for all of the wrong reasons.

Stewart skewered the league last week, and he was back at it Wednesday night in his opening monologue. The “Daily Show” host went right at the league once again, this time with a lot of his focus centering around Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who was barred from the team Tuesday while he sorts out legal issues stemming around allegations he went too far in disciplining his children.
