Joel Klatt, Shannon and Skip discuss race, protests on 'Undisputed'

Colin Kaepernick has created a discussion among NFL fans and non-fans with his protest of the National Anthem over the past few weeks. It’s led other teams and players to do the same, with the Seattle Seahawks joining arms during the singing of it on Sunday, while four Miami Dolphins – Arian Foster included – knelt on the sideline.

Kaepernick’s actions were never a sign of disrespect to the military, though some have viewed his protest that way. It was more about race in America and the divide throughout the country.

On FS1’s “Undisputed” Wednesday morning, Joel Klatt, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless had a serious and honest conversation about the issue of race in the U.S., stemming from Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney’s comments and the protests that took place this weekend in the NFL.
