FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) The New York Jets have waived tight end Brian Parker after he failed his physical, and added four players to their practice squad.

Parker was acquired on waivers from Kansas City on Sunday. The Jets now have three tight ends on their roster: Kellen Davis, Brandon Bostick and Braeden Bowman.

The Jets also added cornerback Dexter McDougle, safety Ronald Martin and running backs Dominique Williams and Raheem Mostert to the practice squad on Tuesday.

McDougle, a third-round draft pick in 2014, Martin and Williams all had been with the Jets before being waived last weekend. Mostert was in camp with Cleveland this summer.
