NEW YORK (AP) The New York Jets have interviewed Philadelphia director of pro personnel Rick Mueller for their vacant general manager job, and scheduled meetings with San Diego offensive coordinator Frank Reich and Arizona defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for the head coaching spot.

Owner Woody Johnson, along with consultants Ron Wolf and Charley Casserly, spoke with Mueller on Sunday as the team seeks to replace John Idzik, who was fired last Monday along with coach Rex Ryan.

The team will also interview Houston director of college scouting Mike Maccagnan and Miami director of college scouting Chris Grier in the next few days.

The interviews with Reich and Bowles will also happen this week, with the Jets already having met with four other candidates, including former Buffalo coach Doug Marrone.
