Jets alter their ticket prices
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) The New York Jets have adjusted their ticket prices, dropping the cost of some tickets in Met Life Stadium and increasing others.
Upper-level tickets dropped by an average of a little more than 10 percent and lower-level seats went up by an average of 3 percent, the team announced Monday. Tickets in the middle mezzanine level remain unchanged.
The Jets sold out all their home games last year in the 82,500-seat stadium they share with the New York Giants. But they're looking to increase the number of season ticketholders in the upper level, which doesn't require a personal seat license.
''It adds to the camaraderie, it adds to the home-field advantage we're looking for,'' Jets President Neil Glat says.
Glat also says season ticketholders will have added perks, including invitations to draft parties, and conference calls with coach Rex Ryan and general manager John Idzik.
