JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns returned to practice Thursday in a limited capacity, taking a step in the NFL's return to play concussion protocol.
If Hurns continues to make progress, he could be cleared to fully practice later in the week and play Sunday against AFC South rival Houston.
Hurns has 31 receptions for a team-leading 443 yards, with two touchdowns this season. The third-year pro from Miami has 146 catches for 2,151 yards and 18 touchdowns since joining Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He signed a four-year, $40.6 million contract extension in June.

Hurns left last week's loss at Kansas City with a head injury and was determined to have sustained a concussion. It was his second one in 14 games. The only game he missed in his career last December was because of a concussion.
