Jaguars hire 2 assistants, athletic trainer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have hired Robert Saleh as linebackers coach and Scottie Hazelton as assistant linebackers coach.

The Jaguars also hired Scott Trulock as athletic trainer. Trulock, who replaces longtime trainer Mike Ryan, spent the past seven seasons in the same role at the University of North Carolina. Trulock previously spent 11 years in the NFL, working worked in Denver (2004-06), Tampa Bay (2002-03), San Diego (1999-2001) and Philadelphia (1996-98).

Saleh has nine years of NFL coaching experience. He spent the last three seasons as the defensive quality control coach for the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, where he worked under Jaguars coach Gus Bradley.

Hazelton has 18 years of coaching experience in the college ranks. He spent last season as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Nevada.
