Jaguars' Chris Ivory ruled out for Sunday with 'general medical issue'

Jaguars running back Chris Ivory has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chargers with a “general medical issue,” coach Gus Bradley said Thursday.

Ivory was hospitalized for two days with what he termed an “emergency medical condition” in a statement on Thursday. He has yet to return to practice.

“This past weekend was a challenging time for my family and me because of an emergency medical condition that developed while I was with my team at the hotel,” Ivory said. “I am now grateful to be back in the facility and able to refocus on the game that I love.”

Ivory, who signed a five-year, $32 million deal with Jacksonville over the off-season, missed the Jaguars’ Week 2 loss to Green Bay for an unknown reason.
