Jaguars plagued by tackling problems in loss to Tampa Bay

The Jacksonville defense gave up 183 yards on the ground in Sunday's 38-31 loss to Tampa Bay, and a day after the game, head coach Gus Bradley pointed to missed tackles as a big reason why.

Per the team's official website, Bradley said the Jaguars missed 23 tackles in the game. With that in mind, he said he would challenge the team to take accountability for their mistakes moving forward.

Bradley also noted Jacksonville had particular trouble trying to make tackles in space, something it hadn't had to do much in the previous four games.

"We had it in a pretty confined area in games past where our ability to swarm tackle,” Bradley said. “If we did miss, it was in a confined area; we did well. (The Buccaneers) did a good job, they got us in space. We became exposed in some of our tackling in space. That’s where it showed up.”

The Jaguars will look to correct the issues Sunday at home against Houston.
