Injuries at linebacker promoted the Jacksonville Jaguars to sign veteran James-Michael Johnson on Monday.

Per the Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville made the move after starting inside linebacker Paul Pusluszny suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s 16-13 overtime loss to the Colts, while reserve linebacker John Lotulelei sustained a concussion.

A fourth-round pick by the Browns in 2012, Johnson has played in 43 career games with Cleveland, Kansas City and Tampa Bay.

The 26-year played in one game for the Buccaneers this year before being waived.

Johnson has 104 career tackles and one sack.
