Jaguars manage rare accomplishment in win over Bills

Published Oct. 27, 2015 1:19 a.m. ET

Jacksonville's 34-31 win over the Bills in London on Sunday was not just noteworthy for the fact the Jaguars were able to snap their four-game losing streak. In the process, the team became the first in three seasons to score touchdowns four different ways in one quarter.

In the second quarter, Jacksonville reached the end zone via a touchdown pass from quarterback Blake Bortles, a rushing attempt from running back T.J. Yeldon, a fumble return by defensive end Chris Clemons and an interception return by linebacker Telvin Smith.

As ESPN's Adam Caplan noted, the Jaguars became the the first team since the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 pull off the feat.

Jacksonville's good fortune was almost wasted, as the Bills rallied to take the lead in the fourth quarter before Bortles engineered a late touchdown drive and the Jaguars' defense shut the door.
