J.J. Watt will not accept the hate.

Shortly after Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger suggested that Watt’s custom-made Houston Texans varsity jacket is high-schoolish, the defensive end offered a pleasant little subtweet.

"A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of a sheep," Watt writes on Twitter. "Time to attack the day."

Mettenberger’s comments stem from an interview with Campus Sports.

He said that Watt’s repeated mocking of selfies taken last year doesn’t make since, since the reigning Defensive Player of the Year snaps those pictures, too. Mettenberger then continued to call out Watt’s letterman jacket.

It appears the AFC South opponents have a rivalry brewing. Smart money is on Watt to win the battles next season.
