Welcome back, Josh Freeman.

Freeman — the 17th overall pick in the 2009 draft who made 59 starts and once topped 4,000 passing yards in a season before the Bucs released him in 2013 — made his first NFL start since Oct. 21, 2013 in Sunday’s Indianapolis Colts game against the Tennesssee Titans.

Late in the first quarter, with the Colts trailing 7-3, Freeman found tight end Coby Fleener for a 57-yard touchdown pass to put the Colts up 10-7.

It was Freeman’s first touchdown since Sept. 15, 2013 his second-to-last start with the Bucs before the Vikings picked him up and gave him one start in October of that season.
