Colts bring back RB Josh Robinson to practice squad

A day after the Indianapolis Colts waived rookie running back Josh Robinson, the team re-signed him to the practice squad on Friday.

Robinson, a six-round pick out of Mississippi State was cut after Indianapolis promoted linebacker Daniel Adongo to the the active roster.

The 23-year-old Robinson carried the ball for 17 times for 39 yards and caught six passes for 33 yards in five games this season. His move to the practice squad leaves Ahmad Bradshaw and Zurlon Tipton as the backup running backs behind Frank Gore.
