Chuck Pagano: I'm not worried about my job

With his team 3-4, coming off a disappointing loss at home to the New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday he isn't worried about his job status.

“I’ve got today,” Pagano said, the Indianapolis Star. “If I get tomorrow, I’ll work my tail off to get things right.”

Pagano told reporters he wanted Colts fans to know he shares their unhappiness with the way the team performed against the Saints. New Orleans jumped out to a 20-0 lead at halftime, en route to a 27-21 win.

“That first half, the way that we played, that’s unacceptable,” Pagano said. “They have to know that we’re going to do everything in our power to get it fixed. … That’s not the product that we want to put on the field. We have to be better.”

And they need to be better soon. The Colts upcoming games include Monday's matchup against the undefeated Carolina Panthers, followed by a game against another unbeaten team in the Denver Broncos.
