Greg Robinson is forced to become a leader in only his second season

St. Louis Rams offensive lineman Greg Robinson is forced to grow up quickly in St. Louis. Entering only his second season in the NFL, Robinson is already one of the leaders on the offensive line.

"Last year, I was the one asking the questions," Robinson told ESPN.com, via Everything Alabama.

This year, Robinson and Rodger Saffold will be the leaders of the offensive line. Saffold has 60 career NFL starts, while every other offensive lineman on the roster has a combined 43 starts, and that includes 12 from Robinson.

"It's kind of shocking just to see that because it's a lot of young guys that are in my position last year," Robins said. "... I have to step up along with Rodger. Me and him was up here the whole offseason, so it should pay off."

Robinson says the game is already much easier for him in his second season. He picked the brain of Saffold all offseason to help him prepare. Robinson knows there will be pressure on him to teach the younger guys things he wish he knew his rookie season.

"I feel like the game has slowed down a little bit for me just by me going in through the walk-throughs and getting off on the snap counts and stuff," Robinson said. "I haven't been making as many mistakes as I was last year. So I think the main focus was just to get in the playbook and try my best to pay attention as much as possible just so I won't be thinking as much on the line."
