Packers WR Jordy Nelson still isn't breathing normally due to rib injury

The Green Bay Packers will be without their top receiver, Jordy Nelson, on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. He suffered multiple fractured ribs last week in the team's Wild-Card Round playoff win against the Giants after taking shot to the side from Leon Hall, and the pain he’s enduring sounds unbearable.

He said as much Sunday before kickoff, describing it as this:

"It's a pain no one wants to feel," Nelson said, via NFL Network.

That doesn’t rule him out for next week, though, should the Packers beat the Cowboys on Sunday. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky said there’s “legitimate hope” he’ll be able to suit up for the NFC Championship game, which will be a big boost to the Packers if they advance.

Nelson is unsure whether he’ll be ready by then, but he’s hoping to do exactly that. He caught a team-high 97 passes for 1,257 yards and 14 touchdowns – nearly matching his numbers from his 2014 campaign.
