Glenn Dorsey doesn't expect a letdown on 49ers defense

San Francisco 49ers nose tackle Glenn Dorsey knows the 49ers have lost a lot of talent on their defense this offseason. However, Dorsey is confident that the defense should continue to perform well just like it has in years past.

“We’ve got a lot of guys that can play,” Dorsey said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. “There are a lot of young guys that are hungry, so there’s a lot of good competition and guys are working hard. There shouldn’t be too much of a letdown.”

The 49ers drafted Arik Armstead to potentially replace Justin Smith and also signed veteran Darnell Dockett to the roster. NaVorro Bowman looks to finally be healthy after missing all of last season and Dosey says he is close to 100% after tearing his biceps that caused him to miss the end of the 2014 season.
